PARADE
14th annual Chickendaze Parade will start rolling down Main St. in Oakbank on
Saturday June 1st at 10:30am. Come on out and see all the great floats.

Chickendaze has a NO THROW policy, Feel free to hand out
candy or prizes directly to parade attendants.
​
Parade entry is free.

The Royal Chickee Derby is a mini chicken racing tournament for kids - ages 4 to 10. Each child gets to name their own racing chicken and cheer them on in the race! Each child's name and the name of their chicken are announced to the crowd before each race.
The winner of the race is crowned "King Chickee" or "Queen Chickee". The King or Queen will be crowned and have their photo taken with the winning chicken. All the contestants get a printed certificate that states they "trained and owned" a racing chicken at the Derby and will get a chance to get a picture with a racing chicken after the Derby is over.
Vendor Village
Local artisans, craftspeople, food sellers, and merchants will be selling their wares at our Vendor Village. We will be set up in the lobby and multi- purpose room inside the arena, as well as a few located outside in front of the arena.

Community Church Service
Together We Worship
Come join in the multi-denominational service under the big tent.
Please bring your lawn chairs and enjoy fellowship and inspirational music
with your friends and neighbours. There will be a collection taken with proceeds going to the Springfield Food Bank, either cash or bring a 'tin for the bin'.

BASEBALL TOURNAMENT
First come, first booked: Must pay before Tournament starts at address’s posted below or if you play in the SMOL League can drop off with them.
Teams must prepay

· Games will start Friday, May 31 at 7 pm, all day Saturday June 1st (there will be a parade break), semis and finals Sunday
· Cash prizes for A, B, C side winner and runner up!
